Doctors at Karrinyup St Luke medical centre are going to privately charge from Friday 1st July, 2022
Why?
Medicare simply do not cover the doctors costs to run this practice. Our doctors

Karrinyup St Luke Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice where our Doctors will be charging private fees for consultations.
We provide excellent facilities for our Doctors so as to deliver the best primary healthcare to the community.
Located in the heart of Karrinyup (Next to Karrinyup Shopping centre) we are easily accessed and we have convenient onsite parking.
Patients can access a range of Allied Health Practitioners and Specialists within our centre including Psychology and Pathology Services.
All Patients over 70 or under 16 years, and those with a pension card will be Bulk Billed on weekdays.
Those patients under 70 with a pension card will be bulk billed by some of our Doctors.

If there is an out of pocket expense Our new system allows us to process your Medicare rebate on the day so that the Medicare rebate is back in your account immediately.
Please note that appointments are necessary.
We also have experienced nurse’s available onsite. You can also take advantage of our Afterhours GP Service available seven days a week.
Opiates and Benzodazapines will not be prescribed to new patients at this practice.

St Luke pharmacy in Karrinyup (adjacent to St Luke Medical centre ) is also taking bookings for the COVID vaccine.
Please note: Our GP’s privately bill for procedures and speciality consultations. Please contact reception if you are attending our clinic for a specific procedure to check for any out of pocket costs and if the services are available outside business hours.
